World's (or at least Blogspots) Collide!

August 11, 2006 - We went to the Zoo today and met Ms Kristy and Big D (Dillon). While we were there, we ran into Dillon's sitter and her three kids (you can get to their website off of Dillon's page). Mom was able to snap of picture of Dillon and I watching the elephants but couldn't get one with all the kids together... We'll just have to meet there again!

Vacation, all I ever wanted. Vacation had to get away...

July 22, 2006 - Sorry for the long absence but we just got home from vacation (but isn't EVERY DAY a vacation for babies?!?). Our destination was a little slice of heaven in Grand Haven, Michigan. Our cottage was 1 block off of Lake Michigan but had our own little beach to do whatever we wanted! It was great; I got to sleep in, eat whatever I wanted (ice cream & fish crackers!) and even watch a bit of the Tour de France (Go FLOYD!!).

Here's a picture of me and Grandma Terry at the Grand Haven lighthouse and another with the 'rents on the boardwalk in Downtown Grand Haven. And there's one in there of a freighter entering the harbor and one of our little beach. I found out I'm not a big sand person but was just happy to sit on a towel and play with my toys.

I'll be sure to post more later. I'm off to take a nap. Vacationing is exhausting!!

"Independance" Weekend

July 1, 2006 - This weekend we had a house full of visitors!! Grandma came down from Michigan on Saturday and Grandpa from Michigan and my Aunt from Nevada came to see me on Sunday!! Here's a picture with me and Grandpa and one with me and Aunt Melissa. Oh it was fun and I got all the attention! Have a good flight home Aunt Mo and come back to see me soon...

By the way, Miss Independant is DONE with crawling. Walking is much faster and I can get away from mom and dad easier too! Look out world!

June 28, 2006 - After 2 days of being under the weather, mom and dad decided new shoes would cheer me up. My feet measured as a size 3.5 EXTRA WIDE (thanks mom)!! So, here's what that size looks like... Now I can walk around the house even faster!

Teeth Update

June 25, 2006 - I'm glad SOMEONE finally figured out why I'm so grumpy lately. The reason - THREE new teeth!!! I've finally gotten the front upper right one thru on the top and there's 2 upper molars thru too. Sorry, no pictures though. I'm not letting anyone in there until the pain subsides. I'm pretty sure there's more coming cause I'm a drooling machine this week. Aren't we done with these things yet?!?

Swimming Round 2

June 13, 2006 - For some reason the parental units deem it necessary for me to actually like water. This week I started my second round of swim lessons. It was fine when I was a baby and didn't know what was going on but now that I'm big, it's a different story. The other kids in the class seem to be under this spell since most of them seem to enjoy it. However, as a higher intelligence being I know the real story. It's a conspiracy I tell you!

My first BBQ!

June 3, 2006 - We had visitors tonight for a BBQ at our house. Our friend Charlotte and her parents were in town all the way from Pennsylvania!! We won't hold that against her though... I am, after all, a true BLUE fan. Don't Wolverines eat Nittany Lions? OK, OK, I was a good girl and let her play with my toys. Here's a picture of Charlotte and her mom.

I also got to give more hugs to Cohen's mom. She's so fun!!

June 1, 2006 - It's been so hot lately that mom finaly went out and got me a pool. Um mom, is THIS supposed to make me feel cooler?!?

May 28, 2006 - Now that I can get into the rocker, I need a way to get out!! These legs actually do something!! I can stand up from my chair and take a few steps. I need to hit the Quad machine cause I don't quite have the endurance yet. A few more squats and mom will be chasing me throught the house! YEEHAW!

Chillin the Most

May 26, 2006 - I don't remember having this but mom swears I used to sleep in this bouncer all the time. Well, now I can crawl into my rocker, turn around and plop into the seat. Put in Little Einstein's in the DVD player (yeah, I know what buttons to hit on the remote), get a good cup of milk and my burpie and I'm in heaven!!
